Regulatory information
Licensing
In Jamaica, providing corporate services as a business — formation support, registered office, and company secretarial work — is regulated under the Trust and Corporate Services Providers Act and supervised by the Financial Services Commission (FSC).
HGH Corporate Services operates within this framework. Licence details will be published on this page once confirmed; until then, no licence is claimed anywhere on this site.
A separate company from the law firm
HGH Corporate Services is a separate legal entity from Henlin Gibson Henlin. This company provides corporate administration only. It does not practise law, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Where an instruction requires legal advice, the law firm can be engaged separately.
Client due diligence
As a regulated provider, we must identify and verify our clients and the beneficial owners of the companies we act for. Before an engagement begins we will ask for:
- Government-issued identification for directors, shareholders, and beneficial owners
- Proof of address for those individuals
- Constitutive documents for any corporate shareholder
- Information about the nature and purpose of the engagement
We cannot start work until this is complete, and we may decline or end an engagement where due diligence cannot be completed. These checks are a legal requirement, not a reflection on any client.
Confidentiality and records
Client information is held in confidence, subject to the disclosures Jamaican law requires. Statutory registers and client records are maintained under a written retention schedule; see our Privacy Notice for how personal data is handled.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, tell us first: write to corpservices@henlin.pro or to our office address. Complaints are acknowledged, investigated, and answered in writing under our complaints-handling procedure.
